Bodrag
Posted by C.JIf you were looking for a simple everyday tools like a pdf converter or an office backup system then Bodrag would be the place for you. Though i must admit, I am skeptical about why, in this market of open source products and freely available tools, anyone would pay $40 for a PDF converter.
That being said there are a few products which one might need. Take for example their RAM booster software for $25. Offering some great features like multiple real time monitors and various optimization methods to lower your RAM usage.
Apart from English, most of the software is available in two or more languages including French and Portuguese. All the softwares are user friendly and they have very detailed video instruction as well.

All products are well documented and screenshots/trial versions available before you take the plunge and buy their software. All software tested by Critique Junction were virus/spyware free.
They claim that their products are “award winning”, but I couldn’t find any details on the awards. One page on the PDF converter says awards, but led me to a blank page. Moreover, awards for software products? Who’s heard of that before. I could be wrong and these products might lead you to new levels of bliss but personally I am a big fan of free stuff.
Few products just don’t make sense to the average user (like myself), I mean why do I need an outlook express backup tool when my outlook express itself can generates backups?
Though with a page rank of 4 and great search engine placements, I am sure I am missing something, or the webmaster has great SEO skills and can fool a rich business man or two.
That being said, the website is very well designed, their logo is sharp and the entire look is very professional. Navigation is simple and their demos and information pages are complete and to the point.
So here are the review ratings-
Design - 4.5/5
Content - 3.7/5
Relevance - 4/5 (Exact information as the keywords claim, excellent SEO)
Overall i give it a 3.75/5.
The list of pros and cons as usual -
Pros - Clean look, good navigation, excellent information on products sold, free trials.
cons - few pointless products, having a yahoo messenger online status on contact form, claming to have won awards not providing info.misleading logo (which after reading ’smart computing’ i thought were selling development tools)
All in all, you might want to try our their RAM booster, it does work.
So go check Bodrag out to see how a product website should actually be designed, and while you’re there, might as well try their free softwares.
Yeah, that awards seems to be a little fake. But well, as long as people are downloading it.
