Let Me Advise

Posted by C.J

“Let Me Advise” was a blog that I came across, which, despite being managed and run by a youngster, has a lot of maturity in it, with respect to the ways and means of marketing. In some cases, a level to which even adults might not normally think! Be it the experience or the expertise, the site portrays it all. It has a maximum number of articles under marketing, but there are a few other articles as well.

Let Me Advise

Though, I must admit, the sole complaint that I had, was with the tag-line for the site. The tag-line, which reads “Let Me Advise: Wealth Health and Love” had me thinking that the website was one of those agony-aunt types. However, there’s more to do with marketing (which is basically the author’s profession) than about the other aspects it claims to cover. However, the moment you read the About page, it becomes self explanatory.

The author, after the introductory statement, claims that he is one of the youngest entrepreneurs online, but there is nothing that substantiates this statement all through the site. Of course, by providing the links to a few of the projects he is currently working on, there’s an assurance about the authenticity of his claims. I did not try contacting him, but he sure claims to be very accessible to everyone or every firm that might need his expertise. He does provide a few of his reports for download, which can help prospective clients to decide if they might benefit by contacting him.

The design of the website is plain, and in my opinion bland. As a youngster, I’d expect to see him choosing eye-catching shades of colors, and venture a bit away from the corporate look. After all, this is his blog, and not his company’s website! The articles, on their part are good in content, well worded and informative too. The articles other than the ones in the marketing genre are succinct and worth a read.

Based on these, the ratings look like this:

Design - 3/5
Content – 4.7/5
Relevance - 3.7/5
Overall, I give it a 3.75/5. Further improvement can be made by the author writing more articles for topics other than marketing, and having a better design for the main page, at least.

You think you have it in you to make it big in marketing? Then, look for the right kind of advice at “Let Me Advise”. Furthermore, if it gets monotonous, the articles on bodybuilding could help waver for a while!
